Harleysville Jaycees: Serving Our Community
Officially chartered June 17, 1955, Harleysville was a viable location for a new chapter of the Jaycees because of its close knit sense of community combined with promising population growth. Today, our chapter enjoys continued success due to the efforts of its volunteer members. We are comprised of carpenters, bankers, construction workers, accountants, business owners and landscapers. Although we come from different backgrounds, we all share a common goal of giving back to the community through volunteerism.
For over 50 years our flagship event has been the Harleysville Country Fair Days that we hold every year leading into Memorial Day weekend. The event draws over 10,000 attendees and helps give an average of$75,000 back to the community on an annual basis.
