A community parade that the whole family can enjoy!

Our parade gets better and better every year! We welcome groups, individuals, and families to take part in this once-a-year special occasion as we showcase the amazing individuals, businesses, and organizations that make up the Harleysville Community.  Community members can participate in the parade by creating a float, walking with a service organization, performing with a group, showing off a novelty vehicle, showcasing animals and pets, decorating bikes, or bringing a commercial vehicle to promote a business.  If you would like to participate in the Harleysville Parade on Saturday morning before the Fair Matinee, then the first step is to fill out this form.

If you’re already signed up, then here’s what you need to do on Parade Day:

All participants are required to sign-in at the registration desk the morning of the fair, in the school parking lot, on the south side of the building between 9:30-10:30 a.m., or you will not be eligible for prizes. It’s always a great idea to set up and prepare in advance so you can enjoy the event and parade as much as the onlookers, please don’t wait until the last minute! Once signed-in each participant will be given their location within the order of the parade. The parade will begin promptly at 11 a.m. In the event of rain, you will receive an email from jkrauss918@gmail.com. Should you have any last minute questions, please call Jenna Krauss, (215) 237-7303.

But wait, there’s more…PRIZES!

The top three of each category will receive a trophy. Best overall entry will receive a $100 cash prize. The winners will be announced after the parade at approximately 1:30 p.m., in front of the Harleysville Jaycees trailer at the fairgrounds.  If you are not present to accept your prize, Jenna Krauss will reach out to arrange a pick up time.
